Workforce Condition Check

Most operators have no structured way to check the gap between their own read of the workforce and what employees would actually say. The Workforce Condition Check surfaces that comparison.

It can be completed as a standalone engagement or on a quarterly cadence for organizations that want structured visibility without ongoing reporting. No prior relationship with Motionwave is required.

What This Is

The Workforce Condition Check compares what an owner sees and believes about their workforce against what employees anonymously report — surfacing where those two pictures align and where gaps exist.

It produces a single written brief. It does not diagnose problems, recommend action, or prescribe intervention. What you do with the brief is a leadership decision, not ours.

How It Works

Owner Check-In

The owner receives twelve structured written questions covering workforce stability, team cohesion, individual strain, and forward confidence. Each requires a written response and a self-assigned score from one to ten.

Staff Check-In

An anonymous twelve-question check-in is shared with the team on the same scale. Responses are aggregated and never attributed to any individual. The brief is not initiated until all eligible employees have completed the check-in.

What Organizations Receive

A written brief that names what leadership can see, what it can't, and where the two pictures — yours and your team's — align or diverge. It covers where conditions appear steady or starting to shift, where gaps or blind spots exist, and closes with reflection prompts calibrated specifically to what was observed in your engagement.

The brief is a professional document. It is governed, interpreted, and written to a defined standard. It does not identify individuals, diagnose causes, or prescribe action. What you do with it is a leadership decision, not ours.

What the Brief Actually Gives You

The brief doesn't replace your instincts — it changes what you're deciding from. Vague concern is one kind of input. Named, structured awareness of specific conditions is another. The brief surfaces what you already sense but can't yet see clearly — key dependencies, patterns in the staff data, gaps between your read and theirs — and puts a shape around them. A shape can be monitored. A feeling cannot.

"I knew something felt off but I had nothing to point to. Seeing my score next to what the team actually said — it wasn't shocking, but it made it real in a way I could work with."
